Focus on Growth
Our Capacity Building Practitioners are a mix of professionals from different backgrounds who can support a person in building their capacity for daily activities. Therapy is tailored to each child's needs and goals, using play-based and engaging techniques to support their growth in different areas.
Initial Support Plan Meeting
Our Initial Support Plans are the first appointment for all new clients, designed to gather essential information from individuals, parents, carers, or representatives. These sessions focus on understanding the person's needs, developmental history, and any concerns about their communication or feeding. Children do not always attend this appointment, as the primary goal is to collect detailed information from the parent/carer/representative to help us make the best recommendations for services and appropriately triage appointments. This ensures we can provide the most effective support tailored to your child’s needs.
Behavioural Intervention
Our Behavioural Intervention Services support clients in all areas of life, including home, school, and the community. These services are designed to help people develop positive behaviours, social skills, and emotional regulation strategies. Support is also available for parents and families, providing guidance and practical strategies to create a supportive environment at home. Delivered by a Capacity Building Practitioner, this service focuses on empowering the whole family with the skills and confidence to navigate behavioural challenges and promote positive outcomes for the child.
Early Intervention
Our Early Intervention Services provide tailored support to help children develop essential skills for school and everyday life. This includes one-on-one sessions to prepare for school, assistance for children transitioning to new school environments, and support through home and school visits. We also offer recommendations for group programs, such as Brighter Beginnings, which focuses on easing the transition to Prep. Our goal is to equip children and families with the tools they need for a smooth and confident start to school and beyond.
