Learning to Grow
If you have a child/client who will be heading to prep next year, you can join our Prep for Prep Program. This focuses on readying our little ones to enter the classroom for the next school year.
Prep for Prep Group Program
At Collective Growth we have developed a program to help support students in their transition to Prep. Many children on the NDIS have a small pocket of funding (usually 4-10hrs) that can be used towards preparation for beginning school. While this is only a small amount of time, we aim to get the most out of it for you and your child.
PROGRAM STEP ONE
School Readiness Intake
Meet with the child and parents/carers and run the school readiness assessment
PROGRAM STEP TWO
Tailor program to the child in the groups
PROGRAM STEP THREE
6-week intensive Prep for Prep weekly group sessions
PROGRAM STEP FOUR
Re-assessment of skills where required
PROGRAM STEP FIVE
Report is written and shared with parents/carers
PROGRAM STEP SIX
Meeting with prospective school for the next year to make recommendations to assist school transition
