Allied Health Assistant
Job Summary
As an Allied Health Assistant at Collective Growth, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. In this diverse role, you’ll support clinicians by assisting with client sessions, facilitating group programs, managing equipment, and handling essential administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Support clinicians in preparing for and facilitating therapy sessions and group programs
- Provide one-on-one client support under clinician guidance
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, filing, and resource management
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of therapy equipment and spaces
- Engage in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent, including completion of the first year of an allied health university degree (e.g. occupational therapy, speech pathology)
- Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between clinic locations
- Experience working with children is preferred and a passion for supporting young people

A Week in the Life of an Allied Health Assistant

- Prepare therapy spaces and resources to create engaging, client-friendly environments.
- Assist allied health professionals in one-on-one sessions, helping children develop essential skills.
- Maintain and organise therapy materials, update stock levels, and check for missing or damaged resources.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing insights on client progress and upcoming events.
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining client records.
- Support group facilitators with programs for young people including set up and pack up.
